Overview
Yerba Buena Night is a free outdoor evening of public art, music, dance, and performance. The neighborhood streets come alive with multiple stages, street performances, and installations throughout the event area bringing art within everyone’s reach, establishing the Yerba Buena neighborhood as a cultural center of San Francisco.
Bright Lights, Little City speaks to the idea of interaction in a diverse urban environment by using the unique space around Yerba Buena Gardens and the light of the evening hours as inspiration for dialogue. As the sun goes down, Yerba Buena Night will amplify the artistic culture of the neighborhood, creating a collision of urban excitement and creativity.
Bad Unkl Sista presented throughout this year’s event, including Butoh-inspired processions, installations and stage performances.
