Symbiosis 2015 – Re:Union

Ten Year Re:Union

Symbiosis 2015

September 17-20, 2015

Woodward Reservoir, California

In a world increasingly divided, defined, and compartmentalized, Symbiosis aspires to unify through a common vision of togetherness by gathering artists, performers, and creators or all sorts to celebrate the vitality of a inspired community in the gorgeous natural landscape of northern California. The fabric of this vibrant network is woven together from musical, artistic, and theatrical threads along with ideas and concepts meant to support our physical, emotional, and social well-being.

At the heart of this year’s festival was The Re:Union Palace, a theater-in-the-round containing an 84-hour continuous evolving tapestry of sound, movement and living art. Nestled in a structure designed and built by Joel Dean Stockdill and Shrine, and curated in collaboration with Bad Unkl Sista and SORNE, The Palace offered an experiment in extended-duration experience where performers and witnesses were invited to share in each moment.
