An exploration of neurotic human behavior.
Synopsis
Bad Unkl Sista provided concepting, production and performance services for Spider Ball 2011, a massive Halloween party held every year at the historic Bently Reserve in San Francisco. Our 2011 theme was an exploration of neurotic behavior, with each performer provided options for expressing this theme through movement, characterization and audience interaction.
Highlights included 20+ performers, an aerialist, midnight performance by Gamelan X, and Butoh processions opening and closing the event (at 10pm and 4am).
